FareStart is a culinary job training and placement program for homeless and disadvantaged individuals in Seattle. In 2014, Point32 helped FareStart lease and develop space within the State of Washington’s Health and Innovation Center at Pacific Tower. This expansion has enabled FareStart to grow its training programs as well as its contract meal program, which provides lunchtime meals to elementary students in Seattle. The interior renovation created a full service kitchen, administrative space, and a cafeteria for future tenants of the Innovation Center, including students from Seattle Central College.
